The 4th Annual Swing Fore Hope Charity Golf Tournament will take place on Thursday, September 12th at Deer Creek in Ajax. All proceeds raised will go to Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre in Oshawa. Over the last two years, we have raised more than $65,000 for this wonderful charity with all of the generous support from our golfers, sponsors and volunteers.
Your day will feature a round of golf at one of Durham Region’s top golf courses, a mix and mingle reception, and a 3 course dinner to follow. There will be lots of on-course activities including beat the pro, win a bucket of balls, hole-in-one competitions, closest to the pin, longest drive and more.
Cost: $175 per person | $700 per foursome

Established in 1997 as a drop in centre, in the comfort of a home like atmosphere, Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre is committed to providing community support for people diagnosed with cancer and their families through individual and group support, information, a resource centre, wellness programs and an ongoing lecture and discussion series. Hearth Place is a support centre where cancer patients and their families can come and share their experiences, find resources and discover new ways to care for themselves and each other.
Hearth Place does not receive any government funding and relies on private, in memoriam donations and community and corporate support of their fundraising events to support families in and around the Durham Region. Hearth Place is the only cancer support centre in the Durham Region and the only one between Toronto and Kingston.
